Long-term residential housing and personal development support.

Grace House, our long-term residential program, provides a safe and nurturing living environment that facilitates spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional healing for survivors of trafficking and exploitation.

Residents can also access an array of support services, educational and vocational training opportunities.

Relational & Personal

Grace House is a small and personal, non-institutional community living model for a maximum of five women at a time.

The only long-term housing specifically for adult survivors of trafficking and exploitation in North County, San Diego at this time.

Two Years, Four Phases

Phase 1 // 1st-3rd month

Restorative Reflection / Community Building

During this initial phase, guests focus on self-reflection, understanding boundaries, relationship building, and developing an individual healing and growth plan. They also participate in various assessments while participating in program support and digital detox.

Phase 2 // 3rd-6th month

Empowerment

In this phase, guests work on achieving their personal development goals, including educational and employment objectives. They continue to engage in program support, budgeting and savings, while limiting social media and cell phone use.

Phase 3 // 16th-12th month

Community Integration / Long-Term Planning

The emphasis shifts to independence and self-sufficiency as guests balance work or school with self-care and healing. They actively participate in program support while developing a plan for post-Grace House life.

Phase 4 // 12th-24th month

Launch

During this final phase, guests focus on future plans and prepare for their transition from Grace House into independent living. They maintain employment or continue their education and explore housing options while still participating in program support helping to reinforce their growth and healing.

Application Process

Are you interested in a long-term housing program to assist you in getting out and staying out of “the life” of trafficking and/or exploitation? If you are ready to make and meet goals of sobriety, self-sufficiency, education, and positive employment, please fill out the inquiry application and an AJP representative will follow-up with you within 24-48 hours.

We ACCEPT all people who have survived trafficking and exploitation regardless of race, ethnicity, religious background, or sexual orientation to our Resource Center and Peer Support Group.
